In the 4 months of 2014 passenger traffic at Strigino (belongs to Airports of Regions Holding Company) demonstrated a 23.6% year-on-year growth rate and amounted to 279,098 passengers. The increment on domestic flights was 32.7% (173,434 passengers), international destinations recorded an increase of 11.1% (105,664 passengers). In view of passengers carried during the May holidays, the total passenger traffic at Nizhny Novgorod air hub passed a milestone of 300,000 passengers.
