Aeroflot adds another flight to Moscow

Starting from 26 October 2013, the leading Russian carrier, Aeroflot - Russian Airlines, will perform5 daily flights from Nizhny Novgorod to Moscow. The overall frequency on this route will achieve 8 services a day. Launching of the new frequency makes flight schedule even more convenient for business and transit travelers: aircraft will depart from Nizhny Novgorod to Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport (Terminal D) at 06.05, 09.05, 11.10. 17.30 and 21.55. Reservations are already available with all booking systems.

Aeroflot is not only increasing the volume of traffic, but also actively developing additional services. In May, self-service check-in kiosks were installed at Nizhny Novgorod Airport allowing passengers to reduce check-in time, select seats in the cabin, and, if possible, to be placed next to the family or friends. The baggage is to be dropped at the common check-in desks. Nizhny Novgorod has become the 8th city in the world after Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Tokyo, London, Larnaca and Prague, where self-service check-in kiosks are installed.

In addition, Nizhny Novgorod in one of 19 destinations of Aeroflot route network, where «Business Pass» fare product, an integrated round-trip ticket for several flights, is available. Since the beginning of 2013 «Aeroflot –Shuttle» program is offered for passengers traveling on route Moscow - Nizhny Novgorod - Moscow. This program provides that check-in ends 30 minutes before departure at Sheremetyevo Airport and 20 minutes before departure at Strigino Airport.

You remember that Aeroflot entered the Nizhny Novgorod aviation market on June 17, 2011. The collaboration began with two daily flights Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod. As early as in October 2011, the carrier introduced the third frequency on this route due to the high demand. A year later - the fourth. According to the records of 2012 one in five passengers departing from Nizhny Novgorod used Aeroflot services. All in all last year flights of the national carrier transported 162,553 passengers, or 21.8% of total passenger traffic at Nizhny Novgorod Airport. This is the highest rating among the airlines offering transportation to Strigino, and it continues to grow.
