More than 80 thousand passengers used subsidised flights from Strigino in 2020

More than 80 thousand passengers made flights on subsidised routes (RF Government Resolution No. 1242) via Strigino International Airport (managed by Airports of Regions MC) in 2020 during the period when their flights being co-financed by Nizhny Novgorod Region’s government.
During the year, flights were operated on 11 routes: to Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Mineralnye Vody, Novosibirsk, Perm, Samara, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Ufa and Chelyabinsk by IrAero, UVT AERO, Azimut, Siberia and UTair Airlines.
In 2021 subsidies will also be allocated for 11 interregional routes from Strigino: to Samara, Saratov, Novy Urengoy, Volgograd, Perm, Kazan, St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Astrakhan and Gelendzhik. Flights are already performed to eight of those destinations.
