Since October 26 Nizhny Novgorod International Airport (belongs to Airports of Regions Group) has switched to the winter timetable. 13 carriers will offer regular scheduled flights to 28 destinations in Russia and abroad and 4 airlines will operate 7 international charter routes.
Major changes have occurred in Nizhniy Novgorod - Moscow timetable, in the first place – with Aeroflot airline. Russia's largest carrier has rescheduled all five daily flights for an earlier time. The first Aeroflot’s aircraft now departs from Strigino to the capital at 05:05, the next flight leaves at 08:10, then at 11:15, etc. Thanks to the reshuffle, general timetable to the capital from Strigino has become more comfortable for passengers who got the opportunity to choose the most suitable time of departure according to their needs. All in all 9 daily services fly from Nizhny Novgorod to three Moscow air hub airports.
The domestic flight program reserved flights to Ekaterinburg, Samara, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Kirov, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhnekamsk, Norilsk, Penza, Perm, Izhevsk, Saratov, Surgut, Ufa, Syktyvkar, Ulyanovsk.
Nizhny Novgorod air travelers can go abroad on scheduled flights to Helsinki - Finnair retained in the winter timetable three weekly frequencies to the capital of Finland on the aircraft Embraer-190 (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays). Lufthansa continued operating three flights a week to Frankfurt (Germany) on the Airbus-319 on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Ural Airlines flies to Prague (Czech Republic) on the aircraft Airbus A-320 on Saturdays and to Dubai (UAE) on the Airbus A-321 on Sundays.
Services to the CIS countries in the Strigino’s winter timetable are presented by weekly flights on Air Armenia’s Boeing 737-500 to Yerevan (Armenia) and by Ural Airlines operations to Dushanbe and Khujand (Tajikistan) as well as to Tashkent and Fergana (Uzbekistan).
Winter timetable will be in force at Strigino Airport until March 29, 2015.
