The Strigino International Airport (member of the Airports of Regions Holding) serviced a wide-body Boeing 777-300 making the flight from Moscow to Nizhniy Novgorod. The aircraft landed in the Strigino Airport at 13.05 pm. The Rossiya brought 457 fans of the Argentinian team, which will play with the national team of Croatia on the Nizhniy Novgorod stadium already today.

It should be noted that the airplane was serviced for the first time with application of two passenger loading bridges at once for prompt movement of passengers.

Servicing of Boeing 777-300 type airplanes in the Strigino Airport became possible after opening a new runway in April 2018. The new concrete runway was built within the framework of the Federal Target Program for development of transport infrastructure. It is 3,000 meters long and has width of 45 meters. The runway is equipped with modern lighting navigational aids and advanced landing facilities.  The said characteristics of the runway enable operation of almost all modern wide-body and long-range aircraft.
