The awarding ceremony was held during the finals of the Business & Design Dialogue 2021 forum on 27 May 2021. The Best Office Awards – a yearly national event celebrating best business space solutions – has been held since 2010. It is the main Russian professional awards for best corporate interior design.
The lounge for Priority Pass cardholders opened at Strigino Airport in November 2019. The art image of the space was developed by Moscow-based NEFA ARCHITECTS. According to its creators, they sought to create an atmosphere of comfort and security with a focus on an individual approach to passengers. The lounge features a welcome zone, a kitchen and bar zone, a waiting relax area with upholstered furniture, dining and children’s zones. The lounge is accommodated in the domestic departures waiting area and can provide services for up to 50 people at a time. The space is designed in warm and cozy colours, unobtrusively zoned, with passengers having the option of a more private or lively waiting area.
In 2017, Strigino Airport was the winner of the Best Office Awards for business lounge design. The present award once again vindicated the Airports of Regions MC’s unique to the industry approach to arranging comfortable and stylish spaces. The Best Office Awards also went to Koltsovo Airport (Ekaterinburg) in 2014, Kurumoch Airport (Samara) in 2015, Platov Airport (Rostov-on-Don) in 2018, and Gagarin Airport in 2020. All of those airports are managed by Airports of Regions MC.
