The Nizhniy Novgorod airport earned the award within the framework of VI Eurasian International Conference as the best regional airport with traffic from 100 k to 1 mln passengers per year. The award was established by the Center for Strategic Research in Civil Aviation.
To recap, these are not the first high industry awards received by the Strigino Airport in recent years. The Strigino Airport won the Air Gates of Russia Award as the Best Regional International Airport with Passenger Traffic up to 2 million passengers.

Strigino business lounge was recognized as the winner in the nomination of Business Space in Public Interior of the Best Office Awards also last year. The reputed jury highly appraised arrangement and style in spaces of the executive lounge of the airport.
