The first flights to the popular tourist resorts have already been completed, the program will open in full from October 26.

«The feature of the upcoming winter season will be the consolidation of the tourism market, it means, that tour operators will share an aircraft on the same destination reducing the risks both for business and direct buyers of package tours,» noted Airports of Regions MC’s Director for Aviation Business Development Vladimir Kamynin. «Currently it is more important for all the participants of the tourism market to keep the established set of customers and popular destinations with the high potential then to open exotic novelties and create for them a new audience.»

For example, in the first 9 months of 2014 the share of the Egyptian destination, which is a year-round, amounted to 11.1% in the total passenger traffic of Strigino Airport demonstrating as much as a 3% year-on-year growth rate. Egyptian resorts Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada are consistently ranked the 3rd most popular destination among Nizhny Novgorod passengers, so in the upcoming season tour operators will focus on this destination.
