A Duty Free store will appear in the international departures area of the Strigino International Airport (member of the Airports of Regions Holding). Furthermore, the Duty Paid store will also open for passengers departing with domestic flights over Russia. Stores will offer more than 1,000 items of products of leading global brands to Nizhniy Novgorod residents and guests of the region: tobacco items, strong drinks, confectionery, perfumery and cosmetics, small wares and fashion jewelry.  

At the moment, areas have already been identified. The renovation process is underway and products for sales will be imported after its completion. Opening is planned as early as in late summer of this year.

“We noted the demand for these trading areas within the framework of passenger polls, and the decision was therefore made to open stores as early as in this year,” says Eduard Koshenskov, the Executive Director of the Nizhniy Novgorod Airport. “We are confident these stores will be frequented by Nizhniy Novgorod residents,” he adds.
