Nizhny Novgorod International Airport (belongs to Airports of Regions Group) is actively forming its summer timetable. At the moment, the airlines have announced several scheduled and charter services traditionally in demand with Nizhny Novgorod citizens in the holiday season. The summer timetable will come into full effect at Strigino on 29 March, 2015.
Simferopol: from Nizhny in 2 hours 45 minutes
On Saturday, 16 May, Ural Airlines’ first flight will go from Nizhny Novgorod to Simferopol. From 19 May, the airline will add the second frequency - on Tuesdays, and from 31 May - on Sundays. Thus, at the beginning of the summer season it will be possible to fly to the Crimea from Strigino three times a week.
Travel time is 2 hours 45 minutes, flights will be operated with the Airbus A320. Tickets are already on sale.

Sochi: fly with Ural Airlines and Transaero
Nizhny Novgorod-Sochi route also promises to be quite busy. The first Ural Airlines' Airbus A320 will leave for the Olympic Capital on 17 May and will continue to fly on route until 27 September once a week on Sundays.

Anapa: weekly on Sundays
From 17 May to 27 September Ural Airlines’ Airbus A320 will also perform weekly flights to Anapa (Vityazevo). Tickets are already on sale.

New Greek airline Ellinair launches flights to Thessaloniki
A new foreign carrier enters the Nizhny Novgorod market. On 1 June, 2015 Greek airline Ellinair launches regular flights to Thessaloniki from Nizhny Novgorod. The services will be operated on board of comfortable Boeing 737-400 with 1 frequency in 10 days. Tickets can be bought on the airline's website.
