Strigino Airport handled 900,038 passengers in the first 9 months

During January-September period of 2014 Strigino Airport (belongs to Airports of Regions Group) serviced 900,038 passengers (a 29.3% increase year-on-year), out of them 450,035 (+ 34.7%) were domestic and 450,003 (+24.3%) - international. The number of departures went up by 18.2% and amounted to 7176 operations, freight and mail traffic climbed 12.2% (728 tons).

In the first nine months Strigino’s top domestic destinations were Moscow (329,850 passengers), St. Petersburg (37,949 passengers) and Samara (17,557 passengers) and international - Antalya (148,729 passengers), Hurghada (54,719 passengers) and Sharm el-Sheikh (44,771 passengers). Also it is already possible to make a conclusion regarding the success of a number of new routes opened this year. For example, 4286 passengers were transported to Palma de Mallorca, 4126 passengers travelled to Baku and back, 1688 passengers flew to Helsinki and 1470 passengers preferred Corfu (Greece), flights to Murmansk and Krasnodar also proved to be in demand.

In September 2014 Strigino Airport handled 122,904 passengers showing a 26.7% year-on-year growth rate. Passenger traffic on domestic flights totaled 56,152 people (+31%), international passenger flow recorded 66,752 people (+23.4%). The number of departure was 24.2% higher (950).

The most punctual airlines in September were Finnair and Komiaviatrans - 100% of all flights were performed on schedule. UTair-Express, Ak Bars Aero and Lufthansa also demonstrated strict adherence to the timetable.
