The Strigino International Airport (member of the Airports of Regions Holding) successfully confirmed compliance with global standards and recommended practices for ground services ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations). The audit took place in such areas of operations as aircraft Load Control, Passenger and Baggage Handling, Aircraft Handling and Loading, Aircraft Ground Movement, and Cargo and Mail Handling. Not a single nonconformance to requirements of international ground service standards was found according to audit results. It is worth to note that the air harbor passed this audit for the first time and with high results. The Strigino International Airport entered the ISAGO register of operators according to its results. This audit is optional for the Russian airports; airports pass it voluntarily and should confirm its status every two years. Availability of such certificate increases airport attractiveness for foreign air carriers.
