5,700 passengers were serviced in Strigino comfort lounges during the World Cup

The Strigino International Airport continues summarizing operations during the period of FIFA World Cup matches in Nizhniy Novgorod. The Nizhniy Novgorod airport serviced 5,699 passengers in executive lounges from June 17 to July 7. This is 3,153 individuals or more than two times above the like-for-like period in the last year. 4,084 guests used the domestic flights comfort lounge (+47%), while 581 took advantage of the international flights comfort lounge (+45.6%). 1,034 passengers received services of the VIP lounge (+89%).
Comfort lounges registered the record of visits on June 21, during the day of the match between Croatian and Argentinian teams, which totaled 510 passengers.
To recap, the Nizhniy Novgorod airport serviced 121,976 passengers from June 17 to July 7. This is 44,088 individuals or 57% above the like-for-like period in the last year.
